Clifton Old Boys
Prodesse Quam Conspici
Clifton School was founded as a preparatory school for boys in 1924. The College was established in 2002; a significant development for the school which could now offer quality all-round education for day boys from Grade 00 – Grade 12.
It has become increasingly relevant to have a strong Old Boys influence and participation in the school.
The primary aim of the Clifton Old Boys Association (COBWEB) is to promote and encourage interaction and networking between the Old Boys – both Prep and College – with a view to building a stronger community. We wish to essentially ‘preserve the best of the past’.
A Heritage Centre has recently been established in ‘Founders House’ – the home of the first Clifton College boys, where items of interest, old photographs and mementos of the colourful past of our great school are on display. Should you have any items or photos that you would like to share with us, please do so.
As Chairman, I am delighted to be able to represent the Clifton Old Boys and will endeavour to use this as a forum for Old Boys’ input regarding the School. We encourage Old Boys to get involved.
