The past seven weeks have been busy yet fruitful. My thanks to all FP parents, teachers and boys for what has been achieved so far. As always Clifton has been a very exciting and action-packed place for the boys!

I last wrote to the Clifton Family at the start of the term, barely a month ago – and now we are already at half term! We have sweated through some incredibly hot and humid days, endured the frustrations of load shedding, and now it’s raining in buckets as I write this.

The Naming Ceremony of the Helen Joseph Library: Helen Joseph was born Helen Beatrice May Fennell in the United Kingdom. She was a student of English and it was at the University of London in the late 1920s, that she made friends with Dorothy Stubbs, daughter of founding headmaster of Clifton Preparatory School, Harry Stubbs.

A Message From the College Deputy Principal. Greetings, For me, one of the best sights at Clifton is watching a Clifton Prep boy gleefully running barefoot across the grass outside Heritage House on his way to C-Café. The question that probably comes to mind is “so what?”.

Clifton Academic Cum Laude Awards. At the College Awards Assembly, we were delighted to welcome back Ibrahim Khan and Naail Suliman from the Class of 2019. Their outstanding matric results earned them the highest Academic Award at Clifton – The Clifton Academic Cum Laude. Ibrahim achieved an aggregate of 91.29% and Naail 90.71%.
