GRADES 00 & R
We know that academic success in later years depends on a solid foundation. At Clifton, our experienced teachers focus on building a strong base that includes mathematics, languages, interpersonal and other early life skills. Through play, our boys learn to listen to others, show empathy, deal with conflict, build friendships and share ideas.
Our curriculum is designed in such a way that boys are kept happy and busy throughout their day. Our modern, well-equipped facility offers fantasy, cognitive, outdoor, and creative spaces within a flexible and interactive learning environment, suited specifically to the needs of boys who are just starting to explore the world around them.
The many varied social and cognitive experiences help our boys to grow in confidence, become more independent, and develop a positive attitude to learning, preparing them for more advanced education as they grow. Our boys are taught according to individual strengths and become confident, curious, and creative individuals. Small classes with passionate specialist teachers ensure that they receive individual attention.
Our programme includes the early development of kinetic skills and physicality through fun sporting activities.
Not only do our boys have access to a fine facility but they are also introduced to life in the Preparatory School, where they visit the Information Technology Centre, the Media Centre, and our School of Music.
Our sports curriculum meets the specific needs of the boys. From Grade R, they are introduced to swimming and ball skills by specialist teachers and coaches, laying the foundations for life-long exercise.
Our Aftercare facility and afternoon programme allow the boys to enjoy supervised activities in a safe and caring environment.
