There has been a busy buzz around Clifton today as various classes and grades have been involved in community outreach initiatives in honour of 67 Minutes for Madiba.
The Grade 7 boys each donated a sports ball to the Bambayi Foundation. These will be well used at the new Astroturf that has been installed there.

Grade 6 boys donated fruit to Aladdins creche to supplement their lunches for the week. 249 Fresh sandwiches were also made by the Grade 4 boys and delivered to the creche.
Grade 5 boys made cards which they delivered and handed out to residents of TAFTA Ocean View. One of the 95-year-old residents offered some sage advice to the boys saying, “Make many memories and write them down.”
College boys gathered in their classrooms, outdoors and in the Ken Mackenzie Hall to make piles and piles of fresh sandwiches too. There was a healthy sense of competition as the boys were challenged to see which house could make the most sandwiches!
“We make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give,” Winston Churchill.
