The Clifton Arts Festival

The highlight of the arts programme

The annual Clifton Arts Festival is held in the last week of the Second Term each year. The entire school celebrates the arts by connecting each boy to a variety of creative outlets such as music, choir, drama, dance, and so much more. Workshops across many different arts disciplines are offered to the prep boys, while the College boys get to be part of performances, music, art and drama. Visiting artists are also invited to share their talents and passions with the boys throughout the week.

The festival concludes with the Concert-on-the-Lawns, at which boys typically perform alongside a local artist in front of an appreciative audience of parents seated on picnic blankets with snacks on Founders’ Lawn. The concert is complemented with a Night Market in the Ken Mackenzie Hall at which homemade and home-grown items are sold. Many delicious food items can be found at the Food Court in the main College Quad.
